"I Still Believe in You" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music singer-song writer Vince Gill. It was released in June 1992 as the first single from his album of the same name. The song reached the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) chart. It was written by Gill and John Barlow Jarvis. The song was covered by Jazz artist Warren Hill featuring singer Mitch Malloy in 1993 and English rock band Bad Company on their 1996 CD Stories Told & Untold with Robert Hart on lead vocals.

Trisha Yearwood (born Patricia Lynn Yearwood; September 19, 1964)[2] is an American country music artist, actress, author, television personality and celebrity chef. She rose to fame with her 1991 debut single "She's in Love with the Boy", which became a number 1 hit on the Billboard country singles chart. Its corresponding self-titled debut album would sell over 2 million copies. Yearwood continued a series of major country hits during the early 1990s including, "Walkaway Joe" (1992), "The Song Remembers When" (1993), "XXX's and OOO's (An American Girl)" (1994) and "Believe Me Baby (I Lied)" (1996).

Michael McDonald (born February 12, 1952) is an American singer-songwriter, keyboardist, and record producer known for his distinctive, soulful voice and as a member of the bands The Doobie Brothers (1975-1982, 1987) and Steely Dan (1974). McDonald wrote and sang several hit singles with The Doobie Brothers, including “What a Fool Believes,” “Minute By Minute,” and “Takin' It to the Streets.” McDonald has also performed as a prominent backing vocalist on numerous recordings by artists like Steely Dan, Christopher Cross, and Kenny Loggins. He is considered an influential figure in the development of the yacht rock genre.
