A song originally recorded by ? & The Mysterions on Cameo. Another version appeared by the British Road Runners on Laurie. Tommy James’ version reached #38 on the Hot-100 in 1968. It was also a track on the “Crimson And Clover” album (#8, 1969).
The song’s writers were three members of The Tradewinds’ road band formed after the hit, “New York’s A Lonely Town”. Norman Marzano had been a member of the Videls along with the Tradewinds’ founders, Pete Anders and Vini Poncia.
