I believe the original of this song is by Simon & Garfunkel but the version I know is by the Dubliners. Christy Moore has also done a version of it too.
This short song tell the story of a beautiful day destroyed by a nuclear attack. The brutal lyrics of the last 2 verses really hammer home the reality of nuclear war and serve as a warning to all.
