We have reached the end of the 5 week series of videos I've been putting out, filmed and recorded with Aaron Lumsden @thatlocalguitarist at Akuro Productions and mixed by Eliot Bayless.

Flies has always been one of my favorite Black Dahlia songs and I have wanted to cover it for a while now. I met John a few years ago and when I finally had the time to learn and record the song I thought it would be cool to ask him to do guitar for it and get something better than an AI stem extraction. Luckily, he had already been learning and practicing this song so it didn't take long to get him out to Akuro Productions to record it.

we purposely decided to keep it just drums and one guitar to try and create a live feel of the two of us playing together in the same room which I think gives it a little more raw energy to the recording.
