Jesse Dayton goes beyond description. His repertoire spans a lot of different genres of music, but one thing is for sure. He knows how to rock an audience. Tonight's performance seemed like a slight mixture of rockabilly, country, and rock as he really delighted the audience at Fitzgerald's. The show was fantastic and the audience there just crowded up to the front of the stage to help participate in the show. Talk about a lot of fun. This guy's act was stupendous. Jesse Dayton is best known for his guitar contributions to albums by country musicians including Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson. He is also notable for his collaborations with horror film director Rob Zombie, who has commissioned Dayton on multiple occasions to record music to accompany his films. In fact, he even wrote and directed his own horror movie, "Zombex" in 2013. Tonight Jesse performed songs from his newest release, "The Revealer," as well as songs from his previous 8 albums along with songs from some of his favorite performers. It really made for a long and exciting show. I can't express how good this show really was, Jesse was just outstanding.
