The very cool Macedonian duo of Ivan Nikusev & Wav-E are back on Mistique Music this week with a new single entitled 'Aurora'.

We last heard from this pair about a month ago with the excellent progressive trance 'Cluboholics EP' which was also released by Mistique. With 'Aurora' you can clearly see that the musicianshipof this duo is only growing. Aurora is rich is otherworldly soundscapes, beautiful piano lines, emotional vocal elements and a great breakbeat section as well. This is a great club track but also just a great piece of music. The remixes are supplied by: Airwave, Timewave, Arctic Night and Breeze & Quadrant. Everyone should be familiar with Airwave as he has been responsible for some the biggest trance tunes of the last 15 years, 'Above The Sky', 'Alone In The Dark' and 'Save Me' all come to mind. For his 'Aurora' remix he has delivered a melodic breaks interpretation which has turned out wonderfully. Crisp breakbeats sit underneath the gorgeous soundscapes and melodies from the original perfectly for a blissed out emotional mix from Airwave. Arctic Night has come up with a very good deep progressive mix, the vocal elements are used to great effect and the wispy, ethereal atmospheric washes that waver a way in the background certainly captivate the imagination. A great remix from Arctic Night. Breeze & Quadrant turn is another good deep sounding progressive mix. Some very unique sound design on this mix and an excellent spaced out breakdown, the lead melodies have a nice hazy effect and it really creates an awesome vibe. Closing out the package is Finland's Timewave and he follows up his amazing 'Solar System' album in fine fashion with another excellent remix here. Timewave's ultra-sonic production always comes up tops in our books. His granular atmospherics mixed with rich textures, emotional key changes and character laden basslines make for another sensational piece of progressive trance and it's a great way to close of this killer package from Mistique.
