"(I Love You) For Sentimental Reasons," written in 1945 by William Best, with lyrics by Deek Watson has been recorded by many artists, including Nat King Cole, Eddy Howard, Dinah Shore, and Sam Cooke. Linda Ronstadt recorded it for her 1986 Elektra/ Asylum album, For Sentimental Reasons, which was arranged and conducted by Nelson Riddle.
