I haven’t edited for 3 years, but I’ve been in such a big pain after 55th episode for more than 2 weeks that I needed to create something with Eruri so badly. The bond they share remains me speechless, they were literally a part of each other’s soul and flesh and I can’t even imagine how much Levi’s heart is broken right now. I hope his death will be quick and painless, because he deserves peace with the man he loves after all they have gone through together.

This song is so perfect for Eruri! I personally see the first part of the song (00:12 – 01:27) as Erwin’s words and the second part (01:30 – 02:43) as Levi’s response to Erwin’s words. And the verse «If we can meet somewhere in this world in the future» sounds to me like «I’ll be waiting for you in the afterlife». Hope, they’ll meet there pretty soon in manga.
